“天不生仲尼，万古如长夜”，古人这句话形象诠释了孔子对于中华文明的重要意义，其思想和人格之光，照亮了华夏大地。而以孔子诞生地——尼山命名的尼山世界文明论坛一直致力于开展学术对话、深化文明交流互鉴，自2010年创办以来，已成功举办了八届。

　　“Without Confucius, all ages would have been like an eternal night.”This ancient expression vividly illustrates the significant importance of Confucius to Chinese civilization, as his thoughts and character shine like a beacon, illuminating the land of China.The Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, named after the birthplace of Confucius - Nishan, has been committed to conducting academic dialogues and deepening cultural exchanges and mutual learning. Since its founding in 2010, it has been successfully held for eight times.

　　2023年9月26日至28日，第九届尼山世界文明论坛在山东济宁曲阜尼山举办。本届论坛主题为“全人类共同价值与人类命运共同体——加强文明交流互鉴共同应对全球挑战”。除主论坛外，还举办“尼山世界青年论坛”“尼山世界华侨华人论坛”等10场分论坛，并设置“儒家文化如何应对全球性挑战”“世界文明交流互鉴中的共同价值取向”等12个分议题。

　　The Ninth Nishan Forum on World Civilizationsis being held in Nishan, Qufu, Jining, Shandong Province from September 26th to 28th, 2023. The theme of this forum is “Shared Values of Humanity and a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind- Strengthening Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizationsto Respond to Global Challenges Together“. In addition to the main forum, there are 10 sub-forums such as “Nishan World Youth Forum“ and “Nishan World Overseas Chinese Forum,“ with12 sub-topics, including “How Confucian Culture responds to global challenges“ and “Common value orientation in the exchangesand mutual learning of world civilizations.“

　　本届论坛还在泰国、奥地利、意大利开设了三场海外分论坛，深入阐释了中华优秀传统文化在当代世界文明发展中的时代价值，增进了当地民众对中华文明的认识和了解。本届论坛举办期间，同步设置线上、线下分会场，组织开展主旨演讲、分组对话、高端对话、高端访谈、驻华使节访谈等活动，并举办中华文化展示体验活动，颁发孔子教育奖，组织祭孔大典，实施全球“云祭孔”等，进一步加强文明交流，深化文明合作，推动文明互鉴，全面展示中华优秀传统文化新风采和山东文化“两创”新成果。
