11月12日上午，马来西亚新纪元大学学院校长莫顺宗教授一行到山东工艺美术学院访问。山东工艺美术学院院长董占军会见来宾并就合作事宜进行座谈交流。

　　On the morning of November 12th, Professor Mo Shunzong, President of New Era University College in Malaysia, and his delegation visited Shandong University of Art and Design. Dong Zhanjun, Dean of Shandong University of Art and Design, met with the guests and held discussions on cooperation matters.

　　董占军向来宾介绍了山东工艺美术学院的办学规模、专业设置和国际交流等情况。董占军指出，中国和马来西亚同属于儒家文化圈，双方在文化观念上有着共通之处，希望与新纪元大学学院在传统艺术与新媒体领域深化学术交流、师生互访，并共同建立博士生联合培养机制和平台，以实现资源共享和优势互补。

　　Mo Shunzong provided a detailed introduction to the development history and teaching characteristics of New Era University College. He deeply explored the direction and significance of inter-university cooperation from the perspectives of the cultural backgrounds of the two countries and global development trends. Mo Shunzong stated that as a vibrant young university, New Era University College looks forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Shandong University of Art and Design, enhancing mutual understanding, and welcomes teachers and students from Shandong University of Art and Design to Malaysia to carry out cultural exchange programs and teaching and research cooperation, jointly promoting innovation and development in education.

　　Dong Zhanjun introduced to the guests the scale of Shandong University of Art and Design, its professional settings, and international exchanges. Dong Zhanjun pointed out that China and Malaysia both belong to the Confucian cultural circle, sharing commonalities in cultural concepts. He expressed the hope to deepen academic exchanges with New Era University College in the fields of traditional arts and new media, to facilitate mutual visits of teachers and students, and to jointly establish mechanisms and platforms for the joint training of doctoral students, in order to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages.
