Qianfo MountainFair Shows Good Products in Shandong

　　济南千佛山风景区正举办一年一度的山会，持续至十月二十九日结束。

　　A mountain fair is in full swing now untilOct 29 in the Qianfo MountainScenic Area in Jinan.

　　一年一度的千佛山山会，自古便是济南民间活动的中心，已有700多年的历史。2009年千佛山山会被正式批准选入山东省省级非物质文化遗产名录，已经成为知名的城市文化品牌之一。

　　The annual Qianfo Mountain Fair has been the center of folk activitiesin Jinan since ancient times, with a history of more than 700 years. In 2009, Qianfo Mountain Fair was officially approved as the intangible cultural heritage(ICH) of Shandong Province, and has become one of the well-known urban cultural brands.

　　从千佛山正门沿台阶往山上走，道路两侧吃的、玩的样样俱全，游客们身在其中更是玩得不亦乐乎。沿途卖山货杂品、香烛元宝和日用百货的摊位鳞次栉比；制作民间工艺品的、吹糖人的、捏面人的、卖冰糖葫芦的、卖儿童玩具的……琳琅满目；唱戏的、说书的让人流连忘返。200余个琳琅满目的摊位令人目不暇接，逛吃逛吃停不下来！

　　Starting from the main gate and walking along the steps to the Qianfo mountain, there are all kinds of things to eat and play on both sides of the road. Tourists are having so muchfun. Along the way, stalls selling mountain products, incense,candles and daily necessities were lined up; people are making folk crafts, blowingsugar-figures, moulding dough-figures, selling sugar calabashand toys; The performers and storytellers are also attracting seas of people. More than 200 stalls are here to dazzle your eyes, and I bet you don’t want to miss any of them !

　　周村烧饼、商河豆腐皮、黄家烤肉、宗记锅饼、泉水茶汤......实在让人忍不住吃不完兜着走。面塑、糖画、剪纸、烙画、布老虎……个个惹人爱！

　　There are Zhoucun sesame seed cakes, Shanghe beancurd skin, Huangjia barbecue, Zongji thick pancakes, spring water tea soup...it's really hard to stop eating.Dough sculptures, sugar paintings, paper cuttings, pyrographies, cloth tigers... each one is so lovable!

　　“泉水茶汤”非茶也，实为小米磨成粉炒熟后，用泉水冲泡而成。

　　“Spring water tea soup“ is not teaactually, it’s a kind of porridge made bybaked millet powderbrewed with hot spring water.

　　因其冲泡方式如沏茶一般，故名“茶汤”。后续还可以根据个人口味加入白糖、芝麻、花生碎、葵花籽、葡萄干等配料。

　　Because the way ofbrewing is similar with making tea, so it wasnamed“tea soup“. You can also add sugar, sesame, crushed peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins and other ingredients according to personal taste.

　　今年的千佛山山会在继承传统特色的基础上，更加突出民间艺术和民俗文化。“看大戏、品美食、赏民俗”逐渐成为山会的“标配”。景区还布设了丰收、晒秋、非遗、民俗、赏菊等多元体验场景，让广大游客切身感受经久不衰的民俗风和雅俗共赏的山会特色。

　　This year, on the basis of inheriting traditional characteristics, the mountain fair will highlight folk art and culture.Watching operas, tasting local snacks, and enjoying folk customshave gradually become a standard of the mountain fair. Italso showcasesdiverse scenarios such as harvest celebrations, drying crops, ICH and folk customsdisplaysas well aschrysanthemum appreciation.Tourists will be able to feel the enduring folk style and characteristics of the mountain fair.
