10月28日，第三届山东人才创新发展大会暨第十三届“海洽会”举行。海内外知名院士专家集聚山东济南，带来一场场立足当下、着眼未来的对话会。

　　On October 28th, The 3rd Shandong Talents Innovation and Development Fair and the 13th China Shandong Domestic and Overseas High-end Talents Exchange and Projects Negotiation Fair were held. Renowned academicians and experts from both home and abroad gathered in Jinan, Shandong, to engage in dialogues focused on the present and looking towards the future.

　　中国科学院海洋研究所特聘研究员沃尔夫冈·桑德，是一位来自德国汉堡的生物学家，专攻微生物学。他谈到了在山东的工作经历，高度评价山东的学术氛围，点赞山东吸引国际人才的天然优势，并对未来的合作充满期待。

　　Wolfgang Sand, a distinguished research fellow at the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a biologist from Hamburg, Germany, specializing in microbiology. He discussed his work experience in Shandong, highly praised the province's academic atmosphere, and acknowledged its natural advantages in attracting international talents, expressing great anticipation for future collaborations.

　　这位科学家主要研究材料是如何被微生物溶解的，在位于青岛的中国科学院海洋研究所中，他与当地的专家们寻找抑制生物腐蚀的方法，以保护重要的基础设施免受损害。

　　This scientist primarily studies how materials are dissolved by microorganisms. At the Institute of Oceanology in Qingdao, he collaborates with local experts to find methods to inhibit biocorrosion and protect important infrastructure from damage.

　　桑德教授强调了全球变暖对基础设施的潜在影响，温度每升高10摄氏度，反应速度就会翻倍，这意味着随着气温上升，材料的腐蚀和退化将加剧，饮用水质量也可能受到影响。

　　Professor Sand emphasized the potential impact of global warming on infrastructure, noting that for every 10 degrees Celsius increase in temperature, the reaction velocity doubles. This means that as temperatures rise, the corrosion and deterioration of materials will intensify, and the quality of drinking water may also be affected.

　　对于山东的学术氛围，他感到非常满意，“人们极其友好和乐于助人，即使是在我自身造成的问题上也愿意提供帮助”。在谈到吸引国际人才的优势时，他认为山东省拥有良好的自然环境，尤其是对于从事海洋研究的专家来说，接近海洋是一个重要的优势，比如青岛，既风景秀丽、宜居又提供了便利的研究条件。这些都成为了山东吸引海外人才的重要因素。

　　He expressed great satisfaction with Shandong's academic environment, stating, “People are extremely friendly and helpful even with problems which I was partly responsible for“. When discussing the advantages of attracting international talents, he noted that Shandong Province offers a favorable natural environment. For experts engaged in marine research, being close to the ocean is a significant advantage. Cities like Qingdao are not only picturesque and livable but also provide convenient research conditions. These factors are crucial in attracting overseas talentsto Shandong.

　　随着山东不断优化人才政策和科研环境，未来有望吸引更多像桑德教授这样的国际人才，共同推动山东的科研创新和高质量发展，携手应对包括全球变暖在内的各种挑战。
